Ball Hockey

This summer I played ball hockey my teams name was the spitfirers. In the season I scored 8 goals and 15 assists. In these pics I played the red wings. In the playoffs we placed 3rd. The next leugue I'm playing in is the fall leugue with the team called the Penguins.

Great season of mountain biking!

Awesome season of bike racing at Wednesday Night races! It is always sad for the end of the summer. Hardwood set a record for number of racers this year with 306 on one night. It was great to see all of the Simms family on the podium, but more important was the time spent with an awesome group of friends and families. This race series is a quality event.

Congrats to Noah for winning "Most improved rider" for the series. He had some fantastic race times and is the youngest rider to win the award.

Rowing

Every monday night this summer me and daisy go to a learn to row lesson at the barrie rowing club. Most nights me and daisy take a double but, we have also tried a quad. We even got to stand up in the quad. On the top me and daisy are docking the boat. On the bottom we are rowing in a double.It's been a fun chance to learn something new!!

Simmer Athletes Summer 2009

You may or may not know... "Earth Adrenalin Ltd" is the coaching company that Simmer uses to umbrella all his Cycling Coaching business endeavours. Earth Adrenalin has had some fantastic news over the last few months. The first big success has certainly been the Trek-Hardwood team based out of Hardwood Ski and Bike - 42 athletes have been rippin' up the Ontario Cup circuit. Next, we had great news that two of Kevin's athlete's have been selected to attend the World MTB Championships in Australia (they are actually on the plane as I write this) - Caley Brooks & Mikaela Kofman. Finally, Mikaela Kofman was selected to Team Ontario to compete at the Canada Summer Games and WON the GOLD MEDAL for Mountain Bike!!! Check out these
